This movie's coming out on DVD on February 4th (just a couple of days away!). I've been waiting for the DVD forever (as have mnay other people). It's cheap too, Amazon.com has it for only $11.24 (plus shipping I think). Here's a review of the movie along with some DVD details:

Sounds like a good DVD. As for the movie I actually like it more than the original (not many other people like it though), though the original is a great move too, and sometime this year the European Special Edition will come to Region 1 (finally!).

I really dislike Predator 2. It's just too d**n corny and surreal.

It was faster-paced than the original and had more action, and also developed the Predator a lot.

True, but the story pretty much sucked and so did the acting. All the Predator shots were cool though.

I didn't think the story was that bad, and I thought the acting was good, though some of the characters were underdeveloped (like Captain Heinemann).

He must've been, because i can't even remember that guy. What were your favourite scenes in both movies?

Mine:
P1: The part where you can see the Praetorian without cloak, hanging from the side of a tree + the final battle.
P2: The final battle.

Captain Heinemann was the hot-tempered Police Captain. Here's a picture of him (he's the guy on the right with the sunglasses):

As for my favorite scenes:

P1: When the Predator roars after Dutch tells him he's an "ugly motherf**ker*.

P2: The finale starting in the meat factory.
